Sales Manager Vacancy - Cape Town based work from home

Decription: A successful security firm is expanding it’s footprint to the Western Cape & are looking to hire a Technical Sales Manager in the Cape Town area. The successful candidate will be expected to develop & implement strategy for Cape Town generating, developing and maintaining existing relationships to maximise revenue, profit margin & identifying and developing new opportunities that support new channels & strategic partnerships.



The candidate will be responsible or the following:

New Business Development
Exceptional knowledge of security products not limited to: CCTV, Access Control, Fencing, beams, Remote Off-Site Monitoring, Guarding
Work with the Team to identify & develop opportunities & relationships
Identify methods of increasing the footprint and mindshare of the company
Compiling risk assessments as a sales tool
Demonstration & training on products
Execute presentations and proposals on a highly technical level
Participate in special projects to continuously improve processes, tools, systems and organisation
Contribute to a safe working environment by complying with company Work Health & Safety System and safe work practices
Ensure business processes & tasks undertaken are consistent with the company Quality Operating System
Build effective professional relationships & communications that reflect Group’s Core Values and Code of Conduct

As the company doesn’t currently have offices in Cape Town this position is currently a “work from home” based position with up to 70% of your working hours to be used travelling to meet clients across the Western Cape region.

General Requirements: Technical Diploma with A+ level in IT. Degree preferred
Experience with B2B and B2G sales
Demonstrated track record in developing & maintaining business relationships
Strong commercial acumen and customer focus with the ability to deliver excellent customer service within a sales-led culture
‘Strategic thinker’ combined with a tactical, hands on approach to sales
Willingness to take on a ‘hands on’ approach
Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation & influencing skills
A high level of drive and energy, with a strong results orientation
Proven ability to work as a member of a team as well as autonomously without close supervision
Demonstrable self-direction and self-motivation
Report writing and effective presentation of information
